Bridget Hughes

Yoga Instructor

Bio

Bridget prioritises your long-term health, growth, and progress above all else. Recognising that each individual's body is unique, she understands the varying challenges that can arise on a day-to-day basis. Factors such as emotions, hormones, accidents, life stressors, and even weather changes can significantly impact physical, emotional, and mental well-being. In her classes, Bridget takes all these factors into consideration, expertly adapting the postures to suit your specific needs on any given day.

As your practice becomes more regular, Bridget becomes more familiar with you and your body, gaining insight into what it requires to thrive. Her intention is to guide and teach you, enabling you to experience the numerous benefits of a sustained yoga practice. Bridget's personal yoga journey began in 1998, and after ten years, she became qualified to teach the Iyengar method. In 2011, she launched Seabreeze Yoga. Continuing her commitment to growth, in 2019, Bridget obtained her Junior Intermediate 2 Certificate. She attends classes weekly and engages in ongoing teacher training with senior teacher Kay Parry at the Iyengar Institute of Bondi Junction. Additionally, Bridget has attended conventions taught by esteemed figures such as Geeta Iyengar, Abhijata, and other senior teachers.
